  • Paradise – Anandpuram
  • Rajugari Dhaba - Yendada
  • Prince Dhaba – PM Palem
  • Kamath restaurant - Anandpuram
  • Grand Alfa – Gajuwaka
  • Alifa Spices - Gajuwaka

What were the issues found in the above listed Vizag city restaurants

  • Alifa Spices Restaurant was found using domestic cylinders in place of commercial cylinders and case has been registered against the restaurant.
  • The left-over food was being stored to serve the next day to the customer by reheating and adding necessary essence with a view to cut down the bad smell.
  • The food colors were non-permitted.
  • Kamath restaurant located in Anandpuram does not hold the license for running the restaurant by the Food safety department.
The food samples have been collected and are sent to the lab for testing.

DSP of Vizag Regional Vigilance and Enforcement Office  K. Sravani has shown strict concern on the matter saying the leftover or stale food being served to the customers by reheating and adding other essence are considered unhealthy and can cause serious consequences too.
